A land of dunes,
estuaries and light
Tucked away in Hauts-de-France, on the border with the Somme, our cottage puts you at the heart of one of France's most unspoilt coastlines. The sea 6 km away, vast dunes, migratory birds at the Marquenterre, kitesurfing and sand yachting on fine sandy beaches — every day is an invitation to explore.

Chapter I
The dunes,
as far as the eye can see
From Fort-Mahon to Berck-sur-Mer, the dunes of the Côte d'Opale form a landscape like no other. Miles of fine sand, wild grasses and shifting light, 15 minutes by car — or a little more by bike — from the cottage.
6 km — Large sandy beach, walks through the dunes
9 km — 12 km of beach, an authentic atmosphere
9 km — Listed estuary, wildlife
Chapter II
The sea, the wind,
the kites
The wide beaches of Fort-Mahon and Berck-sur-Mer are renowned throughout Europe for kitesurfing and sand yachting. An international kite festival in Berck each May, kitesurf spots between the sandbanks, Le Touquet just 16 km away — a coastline brought to life by the sea breeze.

Chapter III
The Marquenterre,
a sanctuary for birds
Just a few kilometres from the cottage, the Parc du Marquenterre is one of Europe's most important bird sanctuaries. Hundreds of species of migratory birds gather here every year: spoonbills, avocets, herons, storks and waders can all be observed from the hides set among the reed beds.
