How to get to the Gîtes d'Authie: access and directions

All articles

The cottage is located at Le Pass. d'Authie, in the village of Conchil-le-Temple (62180, Pas-de-Calais), on the RD 940 between Berck-sur-Mer and Rue, about 700 m north of the bridge over the Authie. This practical guide sums up the different ways to reach us.

By car, from the A16

  • From the north (Calais, Boulogne): exit 25, about 8 km from the cottage
  • From the south (Amiens, Paris): exit 24, about 17 km from the cottage
  • Local landmark: a "Gîte rural" sign marks the entrance from the RD 940

Allow around 2h15 from Paris, 1 hour from Lille and 45 minutes from Calais via the A16, outside of summer traffic. In July and August, it's best to avoid Friday and Saturday afternoons on the roads leading to the coast, which get particularly busy between Abbeville and Le Touquet.

By train

The nearest stations are Rang-du-Fliers–Verton–Berck (TER regional trains, about 10 km away) and Étaples–Le Touquet (Intercités and TER, about 25 km away), both linked to Paris, Amiens and Boulogne-sur-Mer. A car is still needed to reach the cottage from the station, as there is no direct public transport link to Conchil-le-Temple.

Once you've arrived

Parking is private and free, right on the estate. Check-in is possible from 4pm; the owner will welcome you personally to hand over the keys and share practical tips. For any questions before your stay, our Contact page has our address, a map and our direct contact details.
